Minerals and the Wealthy

I have this lovely walk I go on sometimes around Kensington. You walk past the prettiest houses and private gardens. Gahhh - rich people. I don't undertand how so many people in this city can afford to live like they do in areas like Kensington. I took my friend on this walk and we tried to take a peek into the private gardens and houses seeing how the wealthy plant their flowers and decorate their living rooms. It's a new hobby of mine here in London - peeking into people's houses. Nothing wrong with that at all.
We eventually ended up at Natural History Museum browsing their mineral section. It just amazes me every single time how nature can create these glittering colourful weirdly shaped things. The mineral room is absolutely stunning with lots of wooden details and beautiful windows. It's unfortunately very easy to miss this room of the museum, but please don't- ask or look for it on the floor plan. The dinosaurs and dead animals are cool but in my opinion minerals are way better. Less cool but prettier.
